    question When should I create a support ticket?

    Exclamation-icon This support desk is to help you with any technical issues that you may be having with this website or one of the products contained herein. Examples might be a dead link or a video not working. This help desk is not meant to be used for coaching or assistance in building your internet business. If you feel that this website or product is not functioning properly then please report the problem by submitting a ticket below.

    question How should I create a support ticket?

    Exclamation-icon When creating a support ticket YOU MUST FIRST CREATE AN ACCOUNT AT THE SUPPORT DESK PAGE in order to receive a response. Many people don’t understand the way a support desk works. You need to CREATE AN ACCOUNT at the support desk first. That means you’ll create a user name and password for the support desk so that you can log back in and see the status of your ticket.

    When used properly a  support desk completely eliminates the possibility of your question or our responses ending up in a spam folder. It gives us both a place to log in and communicate OUTSIDE of email service providers which tend to filter many messages from vendors.

    This means that you must first create an account or log in to your account, then you must submit your question and most importantly YOU MUST LOG BACK IN WITHIN 24 HOURS TO SEE OUR RESPONSE. You should never just assume that you’ll see an email from us. In our experience, 99% of people that claim they didn’t get a response simply failed to log back into the desk to see it and the response message was in their spam folder all along. The other 1% were just impatient.

    question When can I expect a response?

    Exclamation-icon Your support request is NEVER ignored. Please note, when you make a help desk ticket, it may take (24-48 hours) up to 2 business days to get a reply back in normal circumstances. You may not get a reply on the weekend.

    Please also note that a few times throughout the year we do large promotions that can bring in as many as 15,000 new customers in less than 1 week. In those cases, even though we staff the department with additional helpers, the increase in support tickets creates a backlog that may take as much as 3 – 7 business days to get back to you.

    While we still try to get back to you same day, please understand that there are certain circumstances that may create a backlog. Some tickets are beyond the scope of expertise of the General Help Desk Staff and may require the involvement of a specialist or programmer. If this is the case, they will respond to you to let you know that they have passed your information to a programmer and you should expect an answer in another 2 business days or less or you may get a reply directly from that programmer.

    Also, any ticket you submit will be replied to. It is impossible for a ticket to go unanswered. Please do not post a duplicate ticket for the same reason. This will only have 2 people working on your ticket at 2 different times and can actually create a delay in response to you.

    Finally, when creating a support ticket, please be as detailed as possible. Give the product, website, date and time you purchased, the price you paid, your receipt number, how you paid, along with a complete description of your problem. Feel free to include any screen shots or video you made to show the problem. We look forward to helping you with your problem.

    question How do I log in to Affiliate Builder?

    Exclamation-icon Login details are case sensitive so be sure your caps lock is not on. You created your log in and password when you signed up for the site. Check your e-mails for a confirmation of your log in details. If you have forgotten your password you can request it from the log in page.

    question How do I update my version 1.3 to 1.4?


    You can update your Affiliate Builder plugin from version 1.3 or 1.31 to 1.4 without losing your data using either of the following methods:

    METHOD 1:
    1. First, make sure you back up your pages by clicking on the ‘Export Settings’ button at the top of the Affiliate Builder plugin, and ‘save’ your backup somewhere safe.

    2. Navigate to your ‘Plugins’ section on your blog and ‘Deactivate’ then ‘Delete’ your old version and ‘Delete all Files’. Don’t worry, all your data is stored in your WordPress database, so when you activate the new plugin it will return.

    3. While still in the ‘Plugins’ section of your WordPress, click on ‘Add New’ at the top and then ‘Upload Plugin’. Then browse for your new 1.4 version zip file and click ‘Install Now’ and then ‘Activate Plugin’. You should now have the new version installed.

    METHOD 2:
    1. First, make sure you back up your pages by clicking on the ‘Export Settings’ button at the top of the Affiliate Builder plugin, and ‘save’ your backup somewhere safe.

    2. Extract the zip file with the new version and FTP upload the contents of the ‘wp-aff-pro’ folder to your ‘wp-content > plugins > wp-aff-pro’ folder.

    3. Navigate to your ‘Plugins’ section on your blog and ‘Deactivate’ your Affiliate Builder plugin, then simply ‘Activate’ the plugin again. You should now have the new version installed.

    Once you have version 1.4 installed you will receive any updates for this like any regular plugin for at least a year from date of purchase.

    question Why wont my videos play?

    Exclamation-icon The videos are server based at Amazon S3 and stream at 512kbps. We use the latest in Cloudfront technology to ensure the best streaming possible, this means playback speed and loading time will depend mostly on your internet connection. If the video is buffering or taking time to catch up press the pause button and allow the file to load completely before playing again. Patience is a virtue.

    question Why can’t I see the tutorial videos?

    Exclamation-icon The tutorial video are located on the VIDEO TRAINING tab under the “JV Page Development” page. Video 2 will show you how to install your Affiliate Builder plugin. You are given step by step instructions on how to do it. If you find you’re having any issues please submit a ticket at our help desk and we will reply to you within 24 hrs.

    question How do I upgrade my Affiliate Builder membership?

You may be able to upgrade so that you can access additional tools and training material on THIS PAGE.  If you have question prior to upgrading you may submit a ticket or call our office during business hours.

    question How do I cancel my Affiliate Builder membership?

    Exclamation-icon We hate to see you go. If you wish to cancel your free account please submit ticket to support. You MUST include your JVZoo Transaction ID (this starts with an “AP”). We cannot assist you without this information so please be sure to include this in your ticket so that we can assist you as quickly as possible. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we’ve sent you.

    question How do I request a refund for my Affiliate Builder membership?

    Exclamation-icon KEEP IN MIND – Requesting a refund VOID’s your legal permission to use any files downloaded from Affiliate Builder for your website in any way! This includes the WordPress plugins, ebooks, reports, videos, audios and any other material supplied by your paid membership to Affiliate Builder. If you have used any of these files you MUST remove them from your websites and/or digital software before requesting a refund. Think about it; you cannot get a refund for a car you purchased, then continue to drive the car around after getting your money back.

    Your purchase was processed through JVZoo and the only way to properly receive a refund is to submit a ticket at our SUPPORT DESK with your JVZoo Transaction ID (this starts with an “AP”). We cannot assist you without this information so please be sure to include this in your ticket so that we can assist you as quickly as possible. You can submit a refund request within 30 days of your initial purchase, if you’ve exceeded the refund period you will not be eligible for a refund.

    question Can I use the Affiliate Builder software plugin to build my affiliates page on any affiliate platform?

    Exclamation-icon Absolutely, the Affiliate Builder plugin works with ANY affiliate platform. You can either have a unique part of your affiliate link customized by the affiliate or the entire URL.

    question Can you explain how I can use the JVZoo affiliate platform with Affiliate Builder?

    Exclamation-icon No problem at all…
    1. In ‘Main Settings’ > ‘Default Affiliate URL’ enter either the short code ‘YOUR-ID’ or your JVZoo affiliate URL. If you use your JVZoo affiliate URL it will look something like this:
    http://jvz4.com/c/YOUR-ID/ADD-YOUR-PRODUCT-NUMBER-HERE – Replacing ‘ADD-YOUR-PRODUCT-NUMBER-HERE’ with YOUR product number from JVZoo.
    The YOUR-ID part will automatically be replaced with the affiliates ID when they personalize their tools.
    We would suggest that you un-check ‘Show Default Affiliate URL field’, as JVZoo requires approval before affiliates can promote.
    2. In ‘Header Content’ we would recommend that you explain whether your affiliate needs to add just their JVZoo ID (if you used ‘http://jvz4.com/c/YOUR-ID/ADD-YOUR-PRODUCT-NUMBER-HERE’)
    or they need to add their FULL affiliate link from JVZoo (if you just used ‘YOUR-ID’) in order to personalize their tools. You should also provide a link to where they can get their affiliate URL from JVZoo and let them know they need to be approved first.

    question Can I use any autoresponder with the Affiliate Builder software plugin?

    Exclamation-icon Yes, you can use ANY autoresponder with the Affiliate Builder software plugin, if your autoresponder is not listed, simply select the ‘other’ option in email settings and place your autoresponder code in there.

    question Can you tell me what the ‘Developer License’ is for?

    Exclamation-icon Sure, the developer license for Affiliate Builder allows you to create affiliate pages for your customers and sell this as a service. The developer license for Contest Leaderboard allows you to create contests for your customers and sell this as a service. Both are HIGHLY recommended.
